Table Read for New Musical “Picture This”

Opera America 33 7th Avenue, New York, NY, United States

I am thrilled to take part in the table reading of "Picture This," a new musical by playwright/lyricist Richard Edelman and composer Miranda Ferriss Jones, as the role of sculptor Emma Stebbins. Centering around the lives and loves of nineteenth-century sculptors Edmonia Lewis (1844-1907) and Emma Stebbins (1815-1882), "Picture This" explores the complex intersection of womanhood, queerness, race, and self-expression.
