I am thrilled to take part in the table reading cast of Picture This, a new musical by playwright/lyricist Richard Edelman and composer Miranda Ferriss Jones as the role of sculptor Emma Stebbins.
Centering around the lives and loves of nineteenth-century American sculptors Edmonia Lewis (1844-1907) and Emma Stebbins (1815-1882), Picture This explores the complex intersection of womanhood, queerness, race, and self-expression. The creative team of Picture This includes Richard Edelman (Producer, Playwright, Lyricist), Miranda Ferriss Jones (Composer), November Christine (Director), Simon Broucke (Music Director), and Phaedra Scott (Dramaturg).
