As I enter the final year of my Doctor of Musical Arts program in Voice at Peabody Institute, I am working towards completing three final exams: Musicology, Music Theory, and Major Field (Vocal Repertoire). At the end of July 2022, I successfully completed the Musicology exam, and in mid-December 2022, I passed the Major Field exam.
I am also pursuing a joint Master’s in Musicology, and I have submitted the first complete draft of my Master’s thesis, It is I, singing with my Siren voice: Constructing a Phenomenology of Voice through Kate Soper’s ‘Here Be Sirens’.
